My only problem with the film is that it suffers from what I call "Blair Witch Project Syndrome", which is common with action films shot handheld. Essentially, BWPS is when there's a lot of running and looking behind with a handheld camera, which causes the audience to develop splitting headaches. Handheld work is very raw and feels like a real person, but there were times during "Cloverfield" when I was praying for a Steadicam shot. Please, folks; don't let BWPS happen to YOUR film.
